Persol Cross Technology has launched an SCS Evaluation System Support Service to help businesses prepare for Japan’s upcoming Security Measures Evaluation System, which is set to roll out by the end of fiscal 2026.
The service is aimed at small to mid-sized companies that are dealing with growing squeeze from bigger partners, to put more effort into cybersecurity across their supply chains. It looks at the security measures that are already in place, then pinpoints missing pieces relative to SCS ★3 and ★4 requirements and somehow builds a ranked roadmap for getting to compliance.

This launch also seems to mirror the increased unease around supply chain cyberattacks, where attackers increasingly lean on less mature vendors. And as Japan keeps moving toward standardized security assessments, offerings like this may help firms improve readiness and align with shifting cybersecurity expectations, with a usable implementation plan rather than just theory.
