TwinSense Inc., which aims to implement neuromorphic sensing computing in society, is pleased to announce that it has collaborated with Century Arcs Inc. to develop “EdgeSmart Technology®,” a next-generation IoT solution that provides highly efficient, smart analysis of people and vehicle movements in real time, and plans to start providing the service within 2025.
This service will be the first in Japan to realize the social implementation of neuromorphic computing technology, enabling precise real-time analysis with low power consumption, which was difficult with conventional surveillance systems. Edge device test equipment and solutions will be exhibited at the Century Ark booth at the Image Sensing Expo 2025, which will be held at Pacifico Yokohama from Wednesday, June 11th.
“Neuromorphic sensing computing” is a computing technology inspired by the function of nerve cells in the brains of living organisms. TwinSense was established in December 2023 in order to be one of the first to enter this field, which is attracting worldwide attention as a next-generation AI technology and is expected to speed up data processing and significantly reduce power consumption.

Since its establishment, the company has been working towards the social implementation of neuromorphic technology in a situation where solutions using neuromorphic technology have yet to progress worldwide. It has completed the development of “neuromorphic processing” and the establishment of an “integrated development environment platform,” and has accelerated the development of its “edge cloud service platform business” by raising 100 million yen in funding in 2024.
Now, going further, we are in a position to expand our business to provide edge cloud service platforms to businesses, where a variety of applications developed using the integrated development environment platform can actually be run.
