Oracle Japan announces “Exadata X11M”, adopting the latest hardware to improve price-performance ratio

Oracle Corporation announced the release of the latest generation of its Oracle database dedicated system, Oracle Exadata, called Oracle Exadata X11M. The price is the same as the previous generation, X10M, and it is said to have achieved improved performance and energy saving.

The on-premise “Exadata Database Machine” and the on-premise managed “Exadata Cloud@Customer” were simultaneously launched on Oracle’s cloud service Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). On OCI, the service will be rolled out in the US West (Phoenix) region and other regions, and will then be rolled out to other companies’ clouds (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS).
