GetWorks Co., Ltd. and Kagoya Japan Co., Ltd. are scheduled to conclude a collaboration agreement in October 2026 to develop a data center business utilizing containerized data centers and GPU server infrastructure.
Through this collaboration, the two companies will establish a system to jointly propose, design, build, and operate solutions on a project-by-project basis. This will combine Kagoya Japan’s expertise in data center and cloud operations cultivated at its own data center, “Keihanna Lab” (Kyoto Prefecture), with GetWorks’ design and construction capabilities for container-type data centers and GPU infrastructure.
Practical schemes and divisions of roles will be established through individual projects, and the service will be gradually rolled out in response to growing demand.
Driven by the increasing demand for GPU computing due to the proliferation of generative AI and growing interest in regionally distributed data centers as a business continuity measure, the IT infrastructure required by companies and local governments is becoming more diverse. However, the construction and expansion of data centers are subject to constraints such as securing land, developing power and cooling facilities, and construction time.
Through this collaboration, both companies aim to achieve the following three things:

Expanding data center operations beyond the Keihanna Lab with containerized data centers that can be implemented quickly.
Providing secure data center facilities that integrate an advanced data processing infrastructure with a highly secure private network.
Expanding GPU server infrastructure business and AI business utilizing containerized data centers and existing data centers.
