HPE announced HPE GreenLake innovations across private cloud, storage, and data protection. These will redefine how enterprises modernize their infrastructure and prepare data for AI.
As modernization progresses towards AI and cloud-native solutions, a re-evaluation of how environments are managed, protected, and scaled is required. With HPE GreenLake innovation, HPE helps enable an integrated operational model for private cloud, data, and data protection. HPE GreenLake enables the modernization of both virtualized and cloud-native workloads without reliance on distributed and mixed environments of multiple vendors or high-risk system migrations. This simplifies migration from legacy platforms, enhances resilience, and optimizes operational costs (superior TCO) in large-scale environments.
Next-generation private clouds integrate cloud-native and virtualized workloads.
The fourth-generation HPE Private Cloud delivers a flexible operational experience for infrastructure modernization that goes beyond traditional virtualization environments. HPE Private Cloud provides Kubernetes for unified management of virtual machines (VMs) and containers on a single platform, allowing you to scale cloud-native workloads independently. Furthermore, for HPE Private Cloud Business Edition customers, a seamless upgrade path to software that enables unified management of VMs and Kubernetes while leveraging existing infrastructure is also provided.

Enhanced integrated data platform to support AI and modern workloads
HPE is strengthening its data infrastructure for AI and modern workloads by expanding its integrated data layer, adding new native file storage, scale-out block storage, and enhancing agent-based AI management capabilities. This will accelerate AI-driven data pipelines using intelligent data and transform how data is managed, protected, and utilized across the enterprise.
- HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000: Expands data access by providing native file storage on a single platform, in addition to existing object storage. The X10000 scales to up to 16 nodes and 23PB of physical capacity, and its new 100% data availability guarantee ensures uninterrupted application operation (Note 1). Furthermore, it supports RDMA-enabled file storage in addition to existing RDMA-enabled S3 (object storage). These features simplify data storage and access across the entire AI pipeline, including training, inference, and key-value caching. In addition, the X10000 Data Protection Accelerator Node delivers industry-leading backup ingestion performance of up to 2.5PB/hour, further expanding support for use cases such as analytics, cyber resilience, and backup.
- HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000: Delivers improved performance and resilience for mission-critical workloads. New real-time agent-based support autonomously detects, analyzes, and resolves storage issues, while the newly offered 5:1 data reduction guarantee increases efficiency and contributes to lower total cost per TB. Furthermore, the B10000 allows for scalability from 4 to 6 controller nodes, achieving up to 50% performance improvement and built-in dual-node fault tolerance.
- HPE Data Fabric Software: With the new implementation of policy-based data placement and movement capabilities, it provides a comprehensive solution to help prepare and manage data for AI workloads across hybrid environments. The newly implemented interactive interface and agent-based AI assistant enable natural language access to the global namespace, resulting in faster insights, automated reporting, and more sophisticated decision-making. Enhanced metadata integration improves visibility, classification, and lineage, while support for open standards such as Apache Polaris supports consistent governance and compliance across the platform.
