Alphabet Inc., which owns Google, said on March 18 that it would buy Wiz. The deal is worth $32 billion, or around 4.8 trillion yen. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
This is Alphabet’s biggest buy yet. It tops the $12.5 billion deal for Motorola Mobility in 2011.
