Fuji Television Network moves to OCI to increase access to its archive. Fuji Television Network has announced the migration of its programme archive and media metadata to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The existing platform has been in operation for approximately 40 years.
The refreshed platform will support teams across programme production, distribution, intellectual property utilization and secondary content licensing. Fuji Television is adopting a hybrid and multi-cloud setup that connects OCI with its existing on-premises infrastructure and other cloud environments.
The infrastructure includes OCI Compute, Oracle Kubernetes Engine and OCI Object Storage, alongside dedicated network connections through OCI FastConnect and Oracle Interconnect for Google Cloud. The setup is designed to reduce data transfer costs between cloud platforms.
