NetOff Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Lynette Japan Group Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce that it will begin selling refurbished devices, primarily refurbished iPads, at the Mercari Shops “NetOff Mercari Store” within the Mercari flea market app “Mercari,” operated by Mercari, Inc.
Background of the partnership
NetOff anticipates that demand for high-quality used PCs and tablets will increase further in the future, against the backdrop of a shortage of new devices and rising prices. In particular, with the supply environment of the new PC market becoming uncertain due to soaring memory prices, we believe there is room for expansion in the used PC and tablet market as a place to meet the demand for replacements and those prioritizing cost performance.
In light of this market environment, NetOff is leveraging the expertise in buying, appraising, refurbishing, and selling that it has cultivated in its reuse business to strengthen its handling of used PCs and tablets. To ensure that customers can use them with peace of mind, NetOff is strengthening the sale of refurbished used products that meet customer standards, including advanced data erasure methods adopted by government agencies and 28-point inspections.
