Flagxs Co., Ltd., which develops “Flagxs,” a project portfolio management platform tool that supports the improvement of project/business productivity, will begin offering a “Workload and Work Performance Management Function” from August 2026. This function allows for the management of project workloads and work performance on a task basis and can be linked with external systems such as accounting/core systems (ERP) and attendance management systems .
This feature makes it possible to connect “project progress and tasks,” “effort and work performance,” and “cost and management control,” which were previously often managed in separate systems, into a single workflow starting from task management on Flagxs. As a result, Flagxs evolves from a “project management tool” to a platform that connects project performance data to management decision-making.
Background and understanding of challenges in the release of new features
In recent years, while investment in DX promotion and system development has expanded, many organizations lack an accurate understanding of “what that investment is being used for and how much it is being spent on.” Without knowing who is spending how much time on each project and task, it becomes difficult to evaluate productivity and make accurate investment decisions based on project cost management.

Through our experience supporting the implementation of Flagxs and engaging in dialogue with our clients, we frequently heard that “tools for managing tasks and progress” and “systems for managing actual work hours” were being operated separately, resulting in a disconnect between the two. In such environments, team members are burdened with the task of repeatedly entering the same work performance data into multiple systems, and the input units tend to be coarse.
In actual practice, some companies have faced the challenge of not being able to grasp the actual workload on a monthly and individual basis, but rather finding it difficult to see the granular details such as “how much time was spent on which project and which task,” which hinders accurate cost assessment and productivity evaluation.
Against this backdrop, Flagxs developed this function with the aim of naturally accumulating man-hours and work performance as an extension of daily project management, and connecting that to management as cost information.
