FDX Corporation has launched 1Day AI Assessment, a service that helps companies map their business processes and identify where AI could reduce work and costs.
The service uses a one-day interview to review up to 100 tasks across departments. FDX then delivers an AI Transfer Diagnostic Report within two business days, covering estimated time savings, suitable AI options, implementation costs, annual improvement costs, and expected payback periods.
The service costs 100,000 yen, excluding tax, and is available to companies with at least 100 employees. FDX says the approach is aimed at companies that find traditional consulting too expensive or time consuming, while free AI assessments often stop at basic recommendations.

The underlying issue is not always a lack of AI tools. Companies can struggle because they start with tools or training before understanding which processes actually need changing.
By putting process inventory first, FDX is positioning the assessment as a starting point for more practical AI investment decisions.
