Oracle Advances Enterprise Security Amid AI Adoption

Oracle announced Oracle AI Security Mesh, built on OpenAI. This new product complements Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Identity Assurance , which uses biometric authentication to verify a person’s identity, and OCI Zero Trust Packet Routing , which enforces network access policies to protect critical systems and data .

Phil Newman, senior vice president of security and identity at Oracle, stated: “As AI agents take on more responsibility, organizations need the security to keep up with how these systems operate. Oracle AI Security Mesh and Oracle’s identity and network security capabilities help organizations identify and resolve security risks more quickly by managing who can authorize critical operations and which systems AI workloads can access.”
