Oracle announced the Oracle Fusion Setup and Configuration Registry (FSCR), a public Git repository that enables AI agents to read and execute Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications setup and configuration in a machine-readable format. Built and continuously maintained and updated by Oracle, the FSCR systematizes Oracle product expertise and best practices into reusable AI skills, allowing agents to directly plan, execute, test, and validate setup and configuration within Oracle Fusion Applications. To automate much of the time-consuming manual setup and configuration during deployment, the FSCR performs much of this work through software and AI agents. This allows implementation teams to focus more on business transformation, process redesign, and agentizing business processes.
Chris Leone, Executive Vice President of Application Development at Oracle, stated: “Too often, customers and partners have to rebuild critical setup and configuration knowledge with each deployment, or rely on non-updated documentation and one-off guides that quickly become outdated as new product features are added. The Oracle Fusion Setup and Configuration Registry is like having an Oracle product manager guide the team through the entire setup and configuration process. It’s a new model for delivering enterprise applications where deployment knowledge continuously evolves with the product, helping them move to a new class of results-driven applications.”

The FSCR is a formal, reliable, machine-readable, and actionable resource for setting up and configuring Oracle Fusion Applications. Available through a public Git repository, the AI skills systematize Oracle product expertise and best practices across configuration options, dependencies, execution order, execution, testing, and validation. Because the FSCR is continuously maintained and updated alongside Oracle Fusion Applications, customers, partners, and AI agents can leverage the same up-to-date foundation relevant to the product. System integrators can extend this open foundation with their own methodologies, accelerators, automation, and industry-specific solutions, allowing them to shift more expertise from repetitive setup and configuration to transforming how businesses operate and driving agent-based AI innovation.
Using FSCR, AI assistants and coding agents, such as those provided by OpenAI, can translate business requirements, process documents, policies, and existing configurations into deployment instructions and execute the work. The agents can plan the necessary configurations, perform setup and updates directly within Oracle Fusion Applications, and automatically test and validate the results. Expert reviewers can then review the completed configurations, request adjustments, and approve the deployment.
