Nulab Inc. will begin offering its AI-powered workflow automation tool, “Nulab Flowbase,” today, June 16, 2026. As a first step, it will be offered free of charge to organizations that have subscribed to a higher-tier plan of ” Backlog ,” and Nulab aims to expand its functionality and begin general availability around 2027.
Nulab Flowbase is a new service that provides comprehensive support for designing, executing, visualizing, and improving business processes through interaction with AI. Based on knowledge data accumulated within an organization, it transforms business flows that previously relied on individual experience and memory into a reproducible system.
While many companies are making progress in digital transformation (DX), the problem of personalized work management remains. The burden of handover when specific employees are transferred or leave the company, and the time spent on coordination tasks such as progress checks, are challenges that impair the productivity of the entire organization.

To address these challenges, Nulab has supported project management through “Backlog” since its founding in 2004, accumulating business knowledge data for over 20 years. “Nulab Flowbase” is a new business platform developed based on that expertise, in which AI provides comprehensive support from the design to the execution, visualization, and improvement of business processes.
