Echelon and Applied Intuition have formed a business development partnership to speed up the use of AI in Saudi Arabia. This collaboration will focus on bringing Applied Intuition’s physical AI platform to industries in the Kingdom. These industries include robotaxis, ports, mining, manufacturing, agriculture, construction and trucking.
Riyadh-based Echelon will work with Applied Intuition to support customers in these sectors. The partnership also includes investing in engineering talent. The goal is to strengthen skills for deploying and operating AI systems in real-world settings.
Echelon partners with global technology companies to bring technologies into Saudi Arabia. It does this through development, customization and building strong ecosystems. Its model also involves placing engineers with partners and customers. This helps build capabilities in Saudi Arabia around AI deployment.
Khalid Bin Bader Al Saud, Founder and Managing Director of Echelon said the Kingdom has a chance not only to adopt physical AI but also to influence how the technology is used at a national scale. He added that this partnership will combine Applied Intuition’s physical AI platform with the growth of talent across industries that matter to the country.

Applied Intuition builds software and digital infrastructure to make moving machines smarter and more autonomous. Its technology is used in sectors such as automotive, mining, construction and trucking. Applications include cars, robotaxis and trucks. Under the partnership its proven platform will be the foundation for physical AI efforts in Saudi Arabia.
Qasar Younis, Co-founder and CEO of Applied Intuition said that scaling AI across a country requires local partners who can develop and put technology into practice. He called Echelon a partner in advancing physical AI in Saudi Arabia.
As part of its long-term commitment to the Kingdom Applied Intuition has opened an office in Riyadh. It is now hiring engineers locally. The two companies will also aim to position Saudi Arabia as a center for research into autonomous driving for logistics.
