Both Raksul Inc. and Plaid Inc. are now collaborating on the enhancement of direct marketing techniques for businesses through customer data and web browsing behavior. The joint solution will cover the entire process, from audience selection and personalized content to response tracking, performance measurement and campaign improvements.
The partnership builds on Raksul’s efforts to make direct mail more cost-effective. In March 2025, the company launched Raksul DM Mail with Chiku Takubin Co., Ltd., a Seino Group company, addressing delivery costs and time amid rising logistics expenses and postage rates. In July 2025, Raksul introduced Personalized DM and began integrating the service with Plaid’s customer experience platform, KARTE.
With the greater knowledge of customers (which are made up of purchase history, demographic information, and survey data) linked to online behavior data via KARTE, you can find suitable target audiences and to customize mail format & Creative contents. Raksul’s Personalized DM supports around 30 formats for targeted communication.
Unique QR codes will enable marketers to associate each person’s response, and any subsequent activity, back to online customer behavior. This offers a more direct way to see how direct mail spurs website visits, store visits and sales.

For performance measurement, the companies will use KARTE Datahub to consolidate customer data and assess campaign returns based on sales. Businesses can also use Codatum, a business intelligence tool from Plaid Group company CODATUM Co., Ltd., or integrate existing BI environments.
The solution will support A/B testing, ongoing campaign optimization and in-house operations where required.
Sales campaigns are being jointly carried out by both companies, and they will gradually roll out the solution to their customers. They have also considered expanding the initiative to offline platforms such as flyers for analytics-based campaign planning and monitoring.
