Currently, the digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which are the backbone of regional economies, is an urgent necessity. However, challenges include the cost of implementation, return on investment, lack of knowledge on how to utilize digital technology, and a shortage of personnel to promote and operate it.
In addition, functional fragmentation exists among support partners, making it difficult for a single company to provide comprehensive support, from tool provision to in-depth operational support and sales assistance. This is one of the factors hindering the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
To address these challenges, LINE Yahoo! has launched the “Customer Growth Consortium” in collaboration with Technology Partners, Sales Partners, and regional networks including local governments and local banks to provide comprehensive support for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises.
In this consortium, LINE Yahoo! will act as the hub, and through the common platform of “LINE,” which has 100 million monthly active users in Japan, it will establish and operate a comprehensive support system that combines the strengths of each partner according to function.
