RocketReach has partnered with Trestle to strengthen phone verification and grading across its database of 190 million phone numbers. The partnership combines RocketReach’s sales and lead intelligence platform with Trestle’s enterprise identity data APIs, which process more than 500 million queries each month.
The companies are moving beyond basic phone validation, which generally confirms whether a number is valid and identifies its country code or line type. Through Trestle’s verification technology, RocketReach will add greater detail around phone quality, activity, and confidence. RocketReach says its analysis found that contacts with phone numbers verified by Trestle were twice as likely to result in a successful connection compared with contacts whose numbers had not yet been verified.
The update introduces confidence grades ranging from A to B, while invalid numbers receive an F grade and are automatically removed. Users can also access enriched line-type information covering mobile, direct dial, and office phones, supported by Trestle’s claimed 99%+ accuracy.

RocketReach is also adding search filters for different phone types and minimum phone grades, along with expanded API support for phone grades, line types, and user contact methods.
New and existing phone numbers will be verified automatically through Trestle without an additional charge. The move reflects a broader focus on improving contact data quality and making phone intelligence more actionable for sales teams.
