OKI with Turkish Railways sign MOU for IoT disaster tech

OKI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Turkish State Railways (TCDD). They will begin a Proof of Concept to improve railway safety. This will use advanced disaster prevention technologies. The initiative, starting on August 29, 2025, will focus on emergency alerts. It will use OKI’s Zero Energy IoT Series for disaster prevention and monitoring. It will also predict disaster risks using satellite images and other methods. The project will run until March 2026. During this time, OKI will place sensors on Turkish railway lines. These sensors will spot potential disasters. They will also check risk forecasts using satellite data.
