Eleven Labs Japan and Spark+ Inc. have announced a joint initiative to develop a Japanese-specialized voice AI solution tailored for call centers. This collaboration seeks to address long-standing challenges in Japan’s customer service industry, particularly the linguistic complexity and high-quality expectations that have hindered the adoption of AI-driven call centers compared to international counterparts. The project combines Eleven Labs’ expertise in voice generation, backed by its rapid rise as a global leader in AI TTS (Text-to-Speech) technology, with Spark+’s proficiency in developing Japanese-optimized Small Language Models (SLMs) for high-speed, accurate responses. Eleven Labs just launched the Eleven v3 model. It features natural-sounding Japanese speech. This upgrade makes AI voices more realistic and responsive.
