NTT-AT、Globejoyアシスタントの対面版を提供開始

NTT Advanced Technology Corporation will begin offering a face-to-face version of its multilingual real-time communication assistant “globejoy” from September 26, 2025.

“globejoy” is a service that instantly translates and displays on screen the desired language in places where people are having conversations and discussions in different languages.

従来のWeb会議バージョンに加え、対面バージョンをラインナップに加えることで、接客・サービスシーンでの多言語コミュニケーションがよりスムーズになります。

日本では、さまざまな分野で外国人労働者の受け入れが進み、地域社会や職場で外国人と交流する機会が増えています。また、日本を訪れる外国人観光客は年々増加しており、異なる言語や文化を持つ人々との円滑なコミュニケーションは、日本全国でこれまで以上に重要になっています。

このような状況を踏まえて NTT-AT has decided to provide a face-to-face version of “globejoy” to remove the language barrier when dealing with customers at local government offices or hotels, and to resolve communication issues with foreigners.
