マツダ株式会社は、以下の企業と提携しました。 山口県 and Iwakuni City. They will build the new ‘Mazda Motor Corporation Iwakuni Plant’ together.’ This project will boost growth and innovation in the area. This new facility will focus on lithium-ion battery cells for cars. Mazda announced the project in January. This will be the company’s first new plant in Japan since the Hofu No.2 Plant opened in 1992. Construction will start in November. Plant operations are set to begin in fiscal year 2027.
