シッピオ has launched ‘AI Document Matching’ on its Shippio Platform to automate cross-checking across international trade documents. The feature is used to compare invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and arrival notices to spot mismatches, absent details, and items that need a closer look.
It tackles a usual issue in trade operations, where teams often compare PDFs and Excel sheets by hand even though the layouts, and the wording may not line up, or match the same way. The AI checks details such as quantity, weight, volume, shipping information and shipper or consignee data, then organizes findings by case.

The move extends Shippio’s existing AI-OCR capabilities from document digitization to document verification. For trade teams, the focus is less on reading paperwork and more on catching issues before they create rework or delays.
