Morisawa has made a new proposal for Morisawa Fonts which proposed Web Font Pro as the new plan. It started on 25th November, 2025. The new plan grants permission to use fonts on the internet service and big sites.
Morisawa Fonts are already used a lot to show fonts on websites. Web Font Pro can handle more than 48 million page views a year. Even if the website gets a lot of traffic, the fonts are delivered fast and do not slow the page down. You can use it on company websites, service websites, e-commerce sites, web apps, and image creation editors. You can register multiple domains and many fonts in the same project. This makes it easier to manage and operate. Morisawa staff will give advice and suggest how to set it up depending on your usage and needs.
The plan is designed for people running cloud services or big websites. It uses a fast and light distribution method. You can test the font settings before full implementation. You can check if it works for your site. You can see if the distribution method is okay. Then you can start. The settings can stay the same after the contract.

Morisawa’s old web font service TypeSquare is finally coming to the end of its road. New regulars were stopped as of the 25th of November, 2025. Current subscriptions will get the heave-ho at the end of November, 2027. The users are advised to migrate to Web Font Pro.
