SIOS Technology Corporation will begin offering the HA cluster software “LifeKeeper v10” from November 11, 2025.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry predicts that, due to the declining youth population, the number of people entering IT-related industries will peak in 2019 and then fall below the number of people retiring, leading to a decline in the number of IT professionals. It also predicts that the average age of IT professionals will continue to rise until 2030, resulting in the aging of the population.
Meanwhile, as the digital domain expands as a form of “social infrastructure,” the “Act on Promoting Security by Taking Economic Measures Integratedly” (Act No. 43 of 2022), enacted in 2022, established the “System for Ensuring the Stable Provision of Specified Social Infrastructure Services.” This system now requires specified social infrastructure operators to ensure system redundancy and availability as a risk management measure. Going forward, it is expected that there will be a trend toward ever-higher demand for high reliability and reliable failure countermeasures for IT systems.

Since its launch, “LifeKeeper” has guaranteed the availability of systems that support business infrastructure, while providing solutions characterized by “ease of understanding” and “usability.” Now, the company has decided to release the new version, “LifeKeeper v10,” as software that is easier to understand and contributes to labor savings than ever before, so that systems can be stably built and operated even in the event of a future situation where a shortage of IT personnel will pose challenges in training successors and smooth generational changeovers.
