Advantest Corporation has launched the Advantest Power Optimization Solution (APOS). This new solution works with the V93000 system-on-chip (SoC) test platform. The goal is to improve energy efficiency and support sustainability in semiconductor testing. APOS is made for foundries and OSAT providers. It allows real-time monitoring of tester power use. This lowers electricity costs and maintains high throughput and test accuracy. The solution matches industry goals to improve energy use and reduce carbon footprints in semiconductor manufacturing.
APOS works with Advantest’s Smart TestCell ecosystem. It automatically turns test cards on or off based on real-world situations. This helps reduce unnecessary power use. Users can get real-time insights via the APOS Client Display. It tracks power use, card type, and status. Centralized reporting happens through the APOS Dashboard. It connects to the Testcell Central System Server Web Dashboard. This setup lets us analyze history and improve power-saving strategies.
