Sato Corporation is pleased to announce the launch of “IritoDe® Process Management,” a new solution that enables the visualization of processes and the digitization of work performance data in manufacturing sites.
This solution utilizes RFID to acquire information such as the start and completion of work, worker information, and material information, and visualizes process progress and history in real time, thereby contributing to increased efficiency and improved quality in the manufacturing field.
Process control in manufacturing is essential for optimizing quality, cost, and delivery time. Properly understanding and analyzing the process sequence, progress, and work-in-progress status in manufacturing orders leads to increased productivity and standardization of operations.

However, in many manufacturing sites, process progress and actual work conditions are not sufficiently visualized, making it difficult to grasp the situation on site in real time. In particular, when work performance records rely on manual input, inconsistencies and delays in records are likely to occur, making it difficult to accurately grasp and analyze the current situation.
In addition, in recent years, rising resource prices and changes in the raw material procurement environment have necessitated adjustments to production volume fluctuations and the ability to handle high-mix, low-volume production. Particularly in custom-made manufacturing, the lack of fixed processes makes it difficult to track working hours and costs, which can be an obstacle to proper production planning and profit management. Furthermore, the worsening labor shortage has created a need for new systems that can achieve both labor savings and increased productivity in manufacturing.
Against this backdrop, we will develop and provide a process management system utilizing RFID as a solution to enable proper performance management, accurate recording and visualization of manufacturing processes, and data-driven analysis and standardization of operations.
