Mitsubishi Electric Information Systems Corporation, an IT business subsidiary of the Mitsubishi Electric Group, and Okinawa Business Solutions Co., Ltd., which operates an integrated enterprise system SAP solutions-related business mainly in Tokyo and Okinawa, are pleased to announce that they have entered into a strategic business alliance with the aim of accelerating the expansion of the SAP businesses of both companies.
In addition to implementing and maintaining SAP solutions, OBS is also working on SAP engineer education, taking advantage of its educational know-how, and is planning to collaborate with the Okinawa Business Solutions College of Educational Corporation OBS (scheduled to open in April 2025, hereinafter “Gakuho OBS”), a vocational school specializing in SAP engineer education. The challenge for OBS is to expand its own SAP business while ensuring a business environment in which the engineers it has trained can thrive.
Through this partnership, MDIS, which has strengths in implementing SAP solutions for major companies, will utilize OBS’s know-how and environment for SAP engineer education to accelerate the training of SAP engineers and continuously strengthen its human resources. OBS will participate in MDIS‘s SAP business and contribute to the regional revitalization of its home prefecture of Okinawa through human resource development and job creation, in addition to promoting its own business development.
