Atsuo Yamada has taken on a new role as Vice President at Movin’ Strategic Career, according to a recent LinkedIn announcement. Yamada shared the appointment while reflecting on his new position at the Japan-based career and recruitment firm.
Yamada has been part of Movin’ Strategic Career since 2025, most recently serving as an Executive Consultant. Before joining the company, he worked at Arthur D. Little (ADL) as a strategy consultant, where he was involved in projects covering management strategy and M&A support for clients in industries including healthcare, food and manufacturing.
Earlier in his career, Yamada worked at M3, a healthcare IT company, where his responsibilities included corporate sales for pharmaceutical companies and product management for the company’s web services. He is also a graduate of the University of Tokyo.

At Movin’, Yamada has focused on supporting professionals pursuing careers in strategy consulting. His areas of experience include helping candidates from healthcare companies, manufacturers and IT-related organizations move into consulting, as well as supporting experienced consultants seeking opportunities at strategy firms, MBB firms, emerging consulting companies and private equity funds.
The appointment comes as technology, healthcare and digital transformation continue to reshape the skills and leadership requirements of Japanese businesses. Consulting firms and companies are increasingly seeking professionals who can combine industry expertise with experience in strategy, technology and business transformation.
Yamada’s background across healthcare IT, strategy consulting and career advisory services gives him exposure to several of these intersecting areas. His new Vice President role expands that experience within Movin’ Strategic Career as the company continues to operate across Japan’s consulting and professional-services talent market.
