VALANCE Inc., which develops and provides the AI-driven headless SCM (supply chain management) platform “VALANCE,” has entered into a business alliance agreement with Riken Sangyo Co., Ltd., which develops ICT solutions in Hiroshima Prefecture, in order to fully expand its support for the use of AI among small and medium-sized enterprises in Hiroshima Prefecture.
Through this partnership, we will provide comprehensive support to small and medium-sized enterprises in Hiroshima Prefecture, from AI implementation to operation. Furthermore, Ririken Industries Co., Ltd. will focus on developing “FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer)” personnel who understand customer business challenges and can implement and establish AI in the field. This will create a system for continuous AI utilization support for local businesses, helping them improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Background
In recent years, the use of generative AI has been rapidly expanding, mainly among large corporations. On the other hand, small and medium-sized enterprises in regional areas face the following challenges due to limited human resources and information systems departments.
I want to implement AI, but I don’t know where to start.

Business data such as contracts and quotations are scattered across different departments, making them unsuitable for AI utilization.
There is a shortage of personnel who can design and operate systems that are suitable for our company.
Recognizing the difficulty in transitioning AI from the “trial” stage to actual business operations, Riken Sangyo Co., Ltd., which has connections with local companies, and VALANCE, which supports AI introduction and utilization, will collaborate to build a system that provides comprehensive support to medium-sized and small businesses in Hiroshima Prefecture, from AI introduction to operation and establishment.
