EM Systems Co., Ltd., a provider of ICT system solutions to medical institutions and pharmacies nationwide, has consolidated the sales and service operations of its insurance pharmacy support system business, including the smart medical record system “GooCo,” which was developed by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Good Cycle Systems Co., Ltd., into EM Systems Co., Ltd., effective July 1, 2026, and integrated its sales structure.
This integration combines EM Systems’ strength in “dispensing systems” with Good Cycle Systems’ strength in “medical record and pharmacy support systems.” Through the provision of a more seamless and convenient one-stop service, the companies will support the resolution of challenges faced by pharmacies nationwide and help them shift to “person-centered services” that focus on patients.

Background of the organizational integration
Currently, the pharmacy industry is facing an urgent need to shift from product-oriented to person-oriented services, including the promotion of “family pharmacists and pharmacies,” and there is a greater demand than ever for operational efficiency improvements (pharmacy DX).
EM Systems holds a top-class market share nationwide in the dispensing system domain, and Good Cycle Systems has received strong support from pharmacists in the field for its smart patient record system. We believe that integrating the expertise of both companies, rather than operating under separate structures, into “one EM Systems” and delivering it to our customers will enable the depth of system integration required for future pharmacy operations, and this led to the current organizational integration.
