GMO Internet Group has signed a strategic partnership with Anthropic as it steps up its push to embed AI across its business and move toward what it calls a hyper-automation enterprise. The partnership covers cybersecurity, enterprise operations, AI-powered services, and robotics.
One of the first priorities is strengthening cyberattack countermeasure services by integrating Anthropic’s Claude models into GMO’s security platforms. The company also plans to use Claude to enhance software security analysis, automated remediation, and malware detection. Beyond cybersecurity, the partnership extends to AI and robotics, where GMO aims to combine Anthropic’s technology with its internet infrastructure to support the development of real-world AI applications.
Internally, GMO will roll out Claude Enterprise across the group, so employees get access to a secure AI environment with enterprise-grade controls, for dealing with sensitive business information. This move is expected to help speed up generative AI use in day to day operations, while also backing broader automation efforts.
