Soracom Launches AI Agent for IoT Development

Soracom has introduced Soracom Agent, which is basically an AI assistant meant to help you through every stage of an IoT project, from the early planning and development bits, to deployment and then the ongoing operations part. It’s built on the company’s existing AI capabilities so it can support connected devices, automate workflows, and also deal with IoT data using natural language rather than those complicated queries. For each customer there is a dedicated and secure environment, in that space the agent builds project knowledge little by little over time, so it ends up feeling more helpful as the deployments grow. This launch also seems to show a wider change in the IoT market, where AI is no longer just for analytics, and it’s starting to move into the day to day operations side of things, enabling both technical teams and non-technical teams to handle connected products more efficiently, kind of without the usual friction.
