Small and mid-sized businesses are adding SaaS tools faster than they can realistically manage them. This convenience usually comes with behind the scenes kind of costs too. Unused licenses stack up, employee accounts stay enabled after role changes and IT teams lose the thread of what software is actually being used day to day. Shadow IT has quietly become a growing problem.
freee and Fujifilm Business Innovation are trying to fix that with the launch of IT Expert Services SaaS Management, a new offering that became available on July 13, 2026. The service combines Fujifilm Business Innovation‘s IT support capabilities with the SaaS management technology behind freee IT Management, giving businesses a single place to oversee their software environment.
The goal is straightforward. Help companies keep SaaS usage under control, reduce security risks, simplify account management, and stop paying for licenses that are no longer actually needed. This service is also meant to support businesses dealing with more strict internal checks and audit duties as they grow, kind of like, on purpose.

Both companies say the partnership will keep going after this launch. They plan to work on closer product integration new capabilities, and joint initiatives that make digital transformation less complicated for small and medium sized organizations. Instead of simply adding yet another tool to the stack, the focus is on helping orgs get more value from the software they already rely on, not just a replacement or something else.
