AXLBIT Corporation, a KDDI affiliate, will begin offering its AI agent service for back-office operations, “SAIS InDocs,” to domestic corporations starting June 30, 2026. In conjunction with this, a webinar will be held to introduce various use cases for the service.
Background to the launch of “SAIS InDocs”
In recent years, Japanese companies have been facing a serious labor shortage in back-office areas due to the declining working population resulting from the low birthrate and aging population. In administrative tasks such as sales administration, a large amount of verification and transcription work across Excel, PDF, and paper forms still remains, contributing to the personalization of tasks and long working hours. AXLBIT has been providing subscription-based business support software “AXLGEAR” and enterprise platform “AXLBOX,” and has received inquiries such as “document formats differ for each customer, making automation difficult” and “tasks are personalized and dependent on individual employees.” To solve these problems, AXLBIT developed “SAIS InDocs,” an AI agent service for back-office operations.
The AI understands multiple documents such as quotations, purchase orders, application forms, delivery notes, and invoices, and automates content verification and system transcription, thereby improving operational efficiency and eliminating personalization. The AI agent, which has learned operational manuals and verification rules, takes over document verification, transcription, and data entry tasks that were previously done manually, supporting improved operational efficiency and eliminating personalization.

Over the next one to two years, we will expand the use cases of AI agents in back-office operations and strengthen our AI agent platform to accommodate industry-specific workflows and verification rules. Furthermore, in the medium to long term beyond two years, we aim to expand our service offerings beyond document management to support the entire corporate business as the “SAIS” series, establishing an AI service brand that supports companies’ digital transformation (DX) initiatives.
