FPT Corporation has expanded its strategic get together, with Microsoft, so that businesses across Asia can speed up enterprise AI adoption, and yes move past the whole ‘pilot project’ stage, into something that actually scales. This partnership is set to zero in on ASEAN Japan and South Korea, where FPT’s regional delivery know-how and Microsoft’s AI platforms work together for a more grounded approach. The goal is practical AI deployment with outcomes you can measure, not just experiments that look good on paper.
Overall, this collaboration fits right into FPT’s AI-first roadmap, while also pushing forward Microsoft’s idea around tighter human and AI collaboration across engineering, operations, and the broader business functions too. As part of the agreement, FPT will strengthen its position as an ‘AI Frontier Company’ by integrating AI agents into core business processes, testing Microsoft’s latest AI technologies, and developing enterprise-ready reference architectures and industry use cases.
FPT also plans to expand its internal AI transformation by continuing to use Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot across its workforce. Over the next three years, the company plans to equip, up to 20,000 developers with agentic AI development know how to better strengthen its engineering talent, and to back up clients’ AI pushes.

Beyond just adopting the tech, both companies will team up on go-to-market plays across key Asian markets, through a more structured collaboration model that includes joint governance, leadership involvement, and hands on capability building. The partnership is also expected to nudge cross industry AI rollout patterns, so enterprises can scale their AI initiatives from neat proof-of-concept work into wider business transformation, faster.
