TeamSpirit Co., Ltd., which provides the integrated cloud service Team Success Platform “TeamSpirit,” will begin offering a new service called “TeamSpirit AI Shift Agent,” which uses AI to automatically generate optimal shifts for industries with shift workers, starting at the end of August 2026.
This service is a next-generation AI labor management solution that reduces the burden of shift management, which is becoming increasingly complex due to diversifying work styles, and provides system-level support for strengthening labor compliance in accordance with the revised Labor Standards Act, which is being considered for implementation from 2027 onwards (including upper limits on overtime work, prohibition of working 14 consecutive days or more, and prior designation of statutory holidays). By linking with our flagship service “TeamSpirit Attendance,” we have created a system that allows for seamless integration and centralized management from shift planning to daily attendance record management, thereby supporting both the reduction of the workload of managers and the avoidance of labor risks for companies.
Currently, the labor market is rapidly moving away from uniform work arrangements towards a diversification of employee work styles, including part-time work, three-day workweeks, and side jobs/second jobs. Consequently, creating work schedules at the workplace has become a highly complex task, requiring the combination of intricate work preferences, skills, qualifications, and operational requirements of each location.

Furthermore, revisions to the Labor Standards Act are being considered for 2027, and in addition to setting limits on overtime work and prohibiting continuous work for 14 days or more, stricter enforcement of Article 36 agreements and stronger penalties for violations are expected, including the prior designation of statutory holidays when creating work schedules. Accordingly, it is becoming increasingly important for companies to create systems and respond early in anticipation of future legal revisions.
