Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Anthropic have, kind of entered into a global strategic partnership, so enterprises can move their AI adoption from the small trials stage to large scale deployment, more or less. As a Global Premier Partner in the Claude Partner Network, TCS will work closely with Anthropic to deliver enterprise AI solutions built around the Claude model family.
The partnership comes at a time when a bunch of organizations, especially in the more regulated spaces, are struggling to actually drive AI efforts beyond the proof of concept stage, or at least that’s how it feels. Worries about precision, governance, auditability and compliance often keep teams stuck, not really moving into live production, for months. TCS wants to tackle these issues by pairing its skills in governance and operational controls, plus large scale technology rollout, with Anthropic’s AI know how.
A key part of the collaboration involves TCS providing access to Claude across its workforce. About 50,000 employees across engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and sales will use the technology internally, which can, help the company gain practical experience that can later be applied in customer engagements, or so to speak.

The two companies are also going to jointly build and then bring to market AI solutions spanning financial services, public services, healthcare, life sciences, telecommunications, aviation, and medical technology. The emphasis will land on business process modernization, IT transformation, and improvements to customer experience, yeah.
Beyond enterprise deployments, the partnership extends to talent development. Through TCS iON, which conducts more than 75 million assessments annually across India, TCS will introduce training and certification programs focused on Claude-related skills. The companies also plan to contribute reusable business logic and plugins to expand the Claude Code ecosystem across domains such as insurance and lending.
