freee Targets Production Industry Pain Points with New Management Platform

freee has launched ‘freee for Production,’ a new initiative aimed at improving management and operational efficiency across production industries, including animation, video, television, and digital content. The project addresses longstanding challenges around disconnected workflows, delayed financial visibility, and inefficient back-office processes.

As its first step, freee has integrated its effort management platform with Autodesk’s Flow Production Tracking (Flow PT). The integration kind of gets rid of duplicated data entry by automatically turning task updates into effort metrics, and that also shrinks the administrative workload for the people who create things.

This happens while production firms are dealing with escalating labor expenses and talent shortages, so there’s more demand for precise project costing, plus profitability monitoring. When production actions are tied to management information in real time, freee intends to help with better, more grounded decisions and steadier business operations over time.
