Dropbox Japan Co., Ltd., the Japanese subsidiary of Dropbox, Inc., announced a new leadership structure to accelerate business growth in the Asia Pacific and Japan markets.
Kensuke Takeuchi will assume the position of Vice President of Sales for APJ (Asia Pacific & Japan) and Chairman of Dropbox Japan Co., Ltd., while Yoichi Tatsumura will assume the position of President of Japan Business at Dropbox Japan Co., Ltd. Under their leadership, Dropbox will further strengthen customer support and partnerships in the Asia Pacific region and Japan, accelerating the promotion of new ways of working and collaboration in the AI era. By combining Takeuchi’s extensive management experience in global technology companies with Tatsumura’s deep customer understanding and sales leadership in the Japanese market, Dropbox will drive further growth in its enterprise business in the AI era.
Mr. Takeuchi has over 20 years of leadership experience in the cloud, data, and AI fields. He has held key positions at global technology companies such as Adobe, Salesforce Japan, Databricks Japan, and Docusign Japan, driving business growth and digital transformation in the Japanese market.

Most recently, as Country Manager and CEO of Docusign Japan, he led the business growth strategy, expanding beyond electronic signatures to include contract lifecycle management (CLM) and AI-powered workflow solutions. He also strengthened the customer base and partner ecosystem, and spearheaded the expansion of solution adoption in the Japanese market. Moving forward, he will leverage his extensive leadership experience and deep knowledge of enterprise technology to oversee Dropbox’s sales strategy and growth initiatives across the entire APJ region.
Tatsumura has over 25 years of sales leadership experience in the enterprise IT and technology sector. Since joining Dropbox as an Account Executive in 2015, he has played a key role in expanding the enterprise business in Japan. In 2020, he was promoted to Sales Manager, leading a high-performing sales team in the Japanese market. Most recently, as Director overseeing the sales division, he has driven strategic growth initiatives and spearheaded strengthening Dropbox’s presence in the Japanese market.
Tatsumura is highly regarded for his ability to deeply address customers’ management and operational challenges and to propose solutions that lead to fundamental problem-solving. Prior to joining Dropbox, he held sales positions at the Japanese subsidiaries of global technology companies such as Symantec, Cisco Systems, EMC, and Sun Microsystems, cultivating extensive knowledge in enterprise infrastructure, security, and cloud solutions.
