Synspective has inked a multi-year strategic alliance with the Italian Earth observation company, e-GEOS, as both firms aim to broaden their SAR satellite and geospatial intelligence capabilities on a global scale. e-GEOS is partly held by the Italian Space Agency, and supported by Telespazio, which is a Leonardo Group subsidiary.
The understanding was signed in the middle of an official ceremony, at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo, under the Italy-Japan Space Dialogues initiative that’s driven by both governments. So yeah, this isn’t only, one more ‘typical’ business partnership announcement. It is also tied to the bigger Japan-Italy cooperation happening around space technology and satellite infrastructure.
The core focus here is combining both companies’ SAR satellite systems and analysis technologies. Synspective will bring its StriX SAR satellite data into the partnership while e-GEOS contributes data from COSMO-SkyMed. Both sides will also combine their multi-sensor platforms, processing technologies, analytical models, and geospatial intelligence systems.

The goal is to build more advanced monitoring and intelligence solutions for areas like environmental monitoring and security.
Both companies also plan to expand their joint product portfolio over time and push their SAR-based services deeper into international markets as demand for Earth observation and real-time geospatial intelligence keeps growing globally.
