PrimeNumber Co., Ltd. announced “Generative Data Management (GDM),” a next-generation management method, at a conference held during “Japan IT Week Spring 2026,” which took place from April 8th (Wed) to 10th (Fri), 2026. GDM is a new management method for the AI era that deeply integrates AI technology into the data management and utilization process itself, transforming the interaction between people, data, and AI into something extremely intuitive. As a proponent of GDM, PrimeNumber will promote initiatives toward its realization.
Background of the proposal
Geopolitical risks, regulatory changes, supply chain disruptions, and the rapid evolution of AI technology—the external factors surrounding businesses are becoming increasingly complex and unpredictable. Adapting to these changes has become a critical management challenge for companies, and collaboration between humans and AI is key to achieving this.
For humans and AI to collaborate on business challenges from the same perspective, a data infrastructure is needed to support their shared understanding of reality. However, conventional data infrastructures are often cumbersome and take several months to realize their value. During that time, the external environment changes drastically, leading to a situation where “the infrastructure, while intended to keep up with change, fails to keep up with the changes, resulting in missed business opportunities.”
