NTT DATA has announced a new initiative to build enterprise AI factories using NVIDIA technology. The move targets a common problem companies face today. Many organizations experiment with AI, but very few manage to scale it across real operations. The progress of work gets delayed because infrastructure and data systems and deployment tools do not connect with each other.
The company’s AI factory model is meant to fix that. It combines NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, high performance networking, and enterprise AI software into a single operating environment where organizations can develop, train, and deploy AI systems more easily. NTT DATA has also integrated NVIDIA AI Enterprise tools such as NeMo and NIM microservices, which help companies build and run AI applications using pre optimized services.
Early deployments show how the approach is being used across industries. A cancer research hospital is using NVIDIA HGX platforms for radiology analysis and clinical research workflows. In automotive manufacturing, a supplier reduced production setup time from months to days by validating workloads and scaling them through an AI factory setup. Another manufacturing firm is using NVIDIA powered simulation to test a battery production line virtually before physical deployment.

What it reflects is an overall trend toward moving beyond experimental models and towards structured systems aimed at delivering tangible value for the enterprise.
