Hacobu has introduced MOVO Adapter, an AI OCR service that uses generative AI to convert fax and paper based documents into structured logistics data. The focus is clear. Fix the analog mess sitting at the entry point of logistics operations.
In many logistics and shipping workflows, delivery requests and purchase orders still arrive by fax. Staff manually enter details like delivery dates, product names, and quantities into dispatch or warehouse systems. This slows operations and increases the risk of input errors and delivery delays.
MOVO Adapter removes the need to pre define reading positions on each form. Instead of setting templates box by box, the AI reads and interprets document meaning. It identifies key fields automatically and outputs the extracted data in CSV format. The data can then be imported into core systems, warehouse management tools, or other MOVO services such as MOVO Vista.

The interface is simple. Upload the file, review if needed, export the data.
As labor shortages intensify across logistics, the bigger shift is this. Digitizing the first touchpoint of information. Not just automating tasks, but building a cleaner data foundation for end to end, data driven logistics.
