Sansan Inc., which provides AX services that change the way we work, will gradually begin offering new functions for its accounting AX service “Bill One,” such as “AI Auto-Invoicing” and “Auto-Approval,” which automate invoice processing, as well as expanding the function of “AI Auto-Verification”, from around spring 2026. This will eliminate the need for multiple tasks that occur after receiving an invoice, such as applying for and approving payment information such as the amount and account, and checking against prior order details.
Going forward, Bill One will accelerate the development of functions that incorporate ever-evolving AI technologies, including generative AI, in the right places, under its new message of “Creating solutions that can be eliminated and changing the way the entire company works,” and will promote AX (AI Transformation) that will not only improve accounting efficiency, but also eliminate analog work across the entire company and fundamentally change business processes.
Invoice processing, which is the starting point for accounting tasks such as accounting and payments, requires a significant amount of work from receipt to filing. For example, to ensure proper processing within a company, there are several tasks involved: “document filing,” in which transaction personnel input and submit information necessary for accounting and payment processing, such as amounts, tax rates, and account items; “verification,” in which invoice details are compared with purchasing data such as delivery and inspection data; and “approval,” in which invoice details are verified against prior approval requests and client master data. However, invoice formats and input fields for each application vary by company and client, and each process includes processes that require human judgment. As a result, many companies continue to rely on manual tasks such as manual entry on PCs and visual verification and checking. This has resulted in a persistent workload and the risk of human error.

To solve these issues, Bill One has developed new functions that eliminate a series of analog tasks in invoice processing, including expanding the functionality of its existing “AI automatic matching” service.
Up until now, Bill One has not simply digitized operations, but has also fundamentally rethought how operations should be carried out, designing services that eliminate inefficient work and responses, such as “proxy receipt,” which eliminates the need to receive invoices. In this latest development, too, we have rethought how processing work should be carried out after invoice receipt, and by incorporating ever-evolving AI technology in the right places, we have realized new functions in order to essentially eliminate the analog work that exists there.
