KOSA ran a three day Japan market entry push in Tokyo from November 17 to 19, teaming up with MegazoneCloud to help 13 Korean AI and software firms test the waters and build real on the ground traction. The idea was simple. Get these companies in front of serious Japanese partners and let them see what the market actually wants instead of guessing from afar.
This whole effort sits under KOFCA’s Co-Prosperity Global Expansion Support Program. MegazoneCloud hosted it and KOSA handled execution using MegazoneCloud ’s global network, local relationships, and infrastructure. The meetup pulled in a big Japanese SI, a major financial group, and a major logistics group SIer. Solid partners to learn from and potentially work with.
Thirteen Korean companies joined the program. MakinaRocks, BI Matrix, Sionic AI, Scatter X, splap, Ecopeace, Xcurenet, Opensurvey, WhaTap Labs, Korea First Tech, Crowdworks, CrossHub, and PiA Space. All of them used the trip to explore global partnerships in advanced AI and software, including generative AI.

Support was not superficial. They got technology consulting, PoC and NDA support, help setting up local entities, PR and marketing guidance, networking with local players, and even introductions for potential investment. The whole package was about giving them a real footing, not a tourist view.
Participants said the field time made the difference. They could read actual demand, see how fast Japan’s appetite for AI and software is growing, and refine their entry strategies with real data instead of assumptions.
