Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. and FSAS Technologies Co., Ltd. are teaming up to provide a solution that allows secure use of generative AI in on premise environments. The solution targets sectors with strict security requirements, including government agencies, financial institutions, and manufacturing. It combines DNP’s proprietary ‘DNP Document Structuring AI Service (AI-Ready Data)’ with FSAS Technologies’ ‘Private AI Platform on PRIMERGY’ and will be available from November 12, 2025.
The collaboration builds on each company’s strengths. DNP, taking advantage of its printing and information mastery, birthed ‘Document Structured AI’ in December 2023, which makes PDF, Word, and other file types to be readily and easily used by generative AI. FSAS Technologies rolled out its in-house generative AI platform in September 2024, which was specifically created to function securely without dependency on the cloud.
Many organizations face restrictions on storing confidential data in cloud environments, making it hard to adopt generative AI. At the same time, effectively using unstructured information such as manuals or technical documents is critical for business efficiency and knowledge transfer. This joint solution addresses both challenges, enabling secure AI usage and supporting digital transformation for companies and local governments.

The solution has three key features:
Secure AI usage: Generative AI runs entirely on internal networks, avoiding the cloud. It can safely handle highly confidential information, including internal documents, customer data, and production information.
Accurate document structuring: DNP’s AI service converts unstructured data into a format that maximizes generative AI accuracy. Applications include technology transfer, document search, and quality control.
Flexible deployment: FSAS Technologies’ platform supports deployments of all sizes and includes the ‘uSCALE Subscription Model.’ The companies take care of everything from planning to operating AI in a way that makes it less of a hassle for businesses to implement the technology.
In the future, secure AI use will be extended to the fields of education, healthcare, and local governments by the two companies, thus speeding up the digital transformation in all the sectors. By combining Dai Nippon Printing’s expertise in converting data for AI with FSAS Technologies’ secure on-premises operations, they aim to promote a Japanese-origin secure AI platform that does not rely on the cloud, contributing to a safer and more efficient society.
