AsiaQuest Inc., an AI integrator, has signed a business partnership agreement with Meidensha Corporation to push the manufacturing industry beyond production and into value-added service creation. The collaboration’s objective is to develop together the new solutions which will support Meidensha’s transition to digital and AI-enabled services.
The two firms have resolved to transcend the traditional client–supplier relationship and set up a partnership of co-creation for the long term. The plan is to enhance the worth of the business from various perspectives, with digital technology, customer knowledge, and organizational innovation being the main drivers.
Action plans under the agreement:
- Enhancing product value
AsiaQuest will cooperate with Meidensha in order to improve the company’s solution platform ‘MEIDEN CONNECT’ and digital products associated with it. They will conduct joint research about the market needs, analyze the actual usage of the products by the customers, and come up with ways to enhance the products’ value and practicality.
- Product development and R&D support
AsiaQuest will assist with developing ‘MEIDEN CONNECT’ and other ongoing projects while also supporting the creation of new technologies, including AI, and helping Meidensha pursue patents for future innovations.
- Co-creation in talent and organizational growth
To back Meidensha’s agile development approach, the companies plan to hold regular workshops, training programs, and collaborative sessions. The aim is to build stronger teams, faster response cycles, and better cross-functional understanding inside both organizations.

They will keep on having meetings regularly for the purpose of reviewing roles, assessing progress, and making adjustments to their collaboration framework. The common objective is to generate value through technology that not only enhances people’s lives and makes the society safer and more sustainable but also conquers the big problems such as lack of workers.
The collaboration started when AsiaQuest supported Meidensha’s in-house move toward agile development. As Japan’s labor shortage deepened, Meidensha began developing a smart facility security service that uses IoT to monitor and manage infrastructure remotely. AsiaQuest contributed by providing engineers skilled in both business and digital technology, helping Meidensha combine traditional development methods with agile practices.
The partnership evolved after AsiaQuest’s flexible project management, co-creation mindset, and impact on human resource development earned high praise from Meidensha. This trust led to a formal and comprehensive business partnership.
Moving forward, AsiaQuest will merge its AI expertise with Meidensha’s deep roots in manufacturing and social infrastructure. The two companies plan to develop high-value services focused on solving real-world issues, with smart security positioned as one of the first major areas of collaboration.
