Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Systems, Ltd. MHI Thermal Systems has introduced the ETI-W. This centrifugal heat pump makes good use of waste heat for industrial and commercial needs in Japan. The ETI-W can provide hot water up to 90℃ and has a maximum capacity of 640 kW. It can take the place of traditional boilers in high-temperature processes. This covers industries such as electronics, automotive, food, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. It also includes commercial facilities and accommodations.
The ETI-W achieves high energy efficiency, with a COP of 4.01 at 90℃. Its centrifugal compressors are made for refrigerant features and high compression ratios. They deliver dependable performance, even with high capacities. The compact design includes an inverter starter panel in the main unit. It uses a shell-and-tube heat exchanger. This setup offers industrial-scale performance while saving space. The ETI-W uses HFO-1233zd(E). It’s a low-GWP, non-fluorocarbon refrigerant. This option is highly efficient and has little impact on the environment.
