Rakumo Inc., a provider of cloud-based groupware expansion tools, and Cloud Ace Inc., a company that provides implementation support and solution development for Google Cloud, have begun joint development of an AI agent using “Google Agentspace,” a cutting-edge AI agent development environment provided by Google Cloud.
This project aims to solve the common problem of internal information being scattered across multiple systems, making it time-consuming to find the information you need. By combining the expertise of both companies, the two companies aim to improve the efficiency of internal information searches and productivity through a proof-of-concept (PoC) of an AI agent.
In this project, we will develop and conduct demonstration experiments on the following three AI agents in particular:
Internal Q&A agent
When employees ask questions such as “How do I apply for paid leave?” or “Who approves equipment purchases?”, the system automatically generates the best answer from company regulations and FAQ data stored in Google Workspace (Google Drive, Google Sites, etc.), significantly reducing the burden on HR and general affairs departments in responding to inquiries.
Onboarding support agent
This helps new and mid-career employees efficiently learn about company policies, departmental roles, work manuals, etc. New employees can smoothly obtain the information they need simply by asking an agent, contributing to their early entry into the workforce.
User support agent
For support departments that handle customer inquiries, AI will search across service manuals and past support history stored in Google Drive to present optimal answer candidates. This will enable support staff in particular to obtain information quickly, contributing to improved efficiency and quality of customer support.

Based on the knowledge gained through this joint development, we are also considering developing an “integrated search agent” that will enable a wider range of cross-sectional searches, including various service data from rakumo, such as workflow, expense reimbursement, and attendance management, as well as information from Salesforce. In the future, we will also consider offering and selling the AI agent as a service through the Google Cloud Marketplace, helping to improve corporate productivity.
