Cloudflare, the leading connectivity cloud company, announced support for better AI experiences through Anthropic’s AI assistant, Claude. Using Cloudflare Workers, global technology companies including Asana, Atlassian, Block, PayPal, Sentry, and Stripe can now enable Claude and other AI assistants to work with their services. Users can complete tasks and interact with business tools simply by talking to Claude, without having to work in the application.
AI is already transforming the way we work by editing emails, generating code, and analyzing data. But in many cases, users themselves switch between multiple applications, tabs, and tools to take the action recommended by AI. To achieve a truly autonomous, agent-like AI experience, the AI tool itself must act on behalf of the user. This is only possible if AI tools and business software tools can work together directly. It is also important to provide reliable, low-latency, and secure access. With an MCP server, the AI platform can connect directly to the tools where the data resides, allowing users to simply talk to an AI assistant to send emails, answer questions, create invoices, and more.
“Cloudflare makes it possible for AI to connect the world,” said Matthew Prince, co-founder and CEO of Cloudflare. “We provide the foundation that makes AI experiences fast, secure, and reliable, whether in a browser, app, or AI assistant like Claude. As AI agents become the next generation of interfaces, Cloudflare will be the infrastructure companies trust to build and scale their AI strategies.”

“AI applications are most useful when they are connected to data and tools,” said Mahesh Murag, product manager at Anthropic. “Cloudflare has developed a way for anyone to easily and securely connect their applications to Claude through the MCP, which will accelerate the adoption of MCP and help establish an ecosystem of remote servers.”
